What is The New Era of Leadership Awards, and why is Chief hosting them?

The inaugural New Era of Leadership Awards by Chief is a celebration of senior executive women and companies shaping the future of business. From calmly navigating a crisis, to showing empathy for employees' personal lives, five attributes define exceptional leadership in this new era. We're looking for individuals and companies that embody one or more of these characteristics. Winners will be recognized for their innovation, compassion, creativity, purpose, and resilience.

As the largest network of executive women, we know good leadership when we see it, as well as how to help good leaders grow even stronger. That's why we created these annual awards to spotlight senior executive women and companies who have exemplified modern leadership while achieving impressive business results this past year.
Who is eligible? Are the nominees and winners limited to the Chief Member community?
We're looking for senior executive women and organizations across all industries who have exemplified modern leadership while achieving impressive business results this past year. Nominees should be based in the United States and can include:
- Executives who identify as a woman, transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming, holding VP-level or C-suite roles
- Public and private organizations
Nominees and winners of The New Era of Leadership Awards are not limited to the Chief community. We know that leadership excellence exists both within and outside of Chief, and we believe all of it should be celebrated. The awards will honor outstanding women leaders and companies across various industries who exemplify this new era of leadership, regardless of their affiliation with Chief.
