As COO of Arrive Health, Christie Callahan is responsible for executing the company’s mission, which is simple to understand, if difficult to implement: make medications more affordable by making cost information more accessible. Under her leadership, the health tech company significantly expanded its reach in 2024. Today, Arrive Health facilitates more than 23 million transactions per month, helping roughly 300,000 providers and 200 million patients identify the right medications at the lowest prices. Callahan, who previously was Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at CVS Health, spearheaded the company’s integration of real-time prescription benefit checks, which allow providers and patients to immediately know whether a drug requires prior authorization. By speeding up the process, the tool enables more informed decisions at the point of care — improving the prescription process for providers and patients alike.
