2025 Winner

Daniela Amodei
President & Co-Founder, Anthropic
She’s Making AI More ‘Helpful, Honest, and Harmless’
In the race to offer the best generative AI products, Anthropic is scoring big wins. The company was founded in 2021 by seven former OpenAI employees, including Daniela Amodei, aiming to take a safer approach to developing the transformative technology. Amodei, who got her start in tech as the Risk Manager at the payment platform Stripe, now oversees Anthropic’s various research teams, as well as the majority of the company’s day-to-day management. Amodei’s goal — to push large language models toward being more “helpful, honest, and harmless” — hasn’t stopped Anthropic from making major breakthroughs. Its chatbot, Claude, is widely considered one of the best, and its AI agents are now able to use computers like humans to complete complex tasks. In 2024, Anthropic’s revenue hit an annualized $1 billion, according to CNBC, and its clients currently include Zoom, Pfizer, Thomson Reuters, and Novo Nordisk, the company behind Ozempic.
